Trails & Treats

Join the Town of Troutman for a Halloween celebration that's all treats and no tricks at the Annual Trails & Treats! On October 31, 2026, from 4PM to 6PM, the wooded trail at Troutman ESC Park will transform into a festive route where children and families in costume can trick-or-treat from participating local businesses and non-profits. This free event is a fantastic way to engage with the community and enjoy a safe, memorable Halloween experience. Businesses are invited to participate by registering to hand out candy and advertise their organizations, creating a vibrant community atmosphere.

Businesses and Non-Profit Organizations: We need you to help make the Trails and Treats event a success. How to Participate:

1. To Register as a Participating Business: email [email protected] or enter your information HERE

2. Let everyone know who you are on the day of the event. Suggestions include promoting your business or organization with a poster, taping business cards to treats, and/or having candy labeled with your business or organization’s name

3. Bring candy and/or treats (stickers, pens, balls, toys, novelties) for at least 2000 children. Sales are not allowed; this is a free event.

4. Have fun! Consider wearing costumes, setting up a spooky display, performing a trick, etc. Give yourself plenty of time to set up (event begins at 4:00 pm, set up any time after 1 pm). Tables and chairs are not provided.
