Meraki Mentality is a small start-up company that creates eco-friendly clothing and jewelry focused on sustainability and promoting care for the environment. Starting in January of 2020, Meraki Mentality strives to make people aware of their surroundings by starting with what they wear. The name Meraki Mentality was inspired by the idea of having an open mind to life's possibilities - "Meraki" means creativity or love put into action. Our goal with our products is to create pieces that are beautiful but also have meaning behind them, whether it is being environmentally friendly or giving back to those less fortunate than us. We hope that by wearing something created with love from Meraki Mentality, you will embody your own Meraki mentality!
Meraki Mentality started as Salem's lifestyle blog while in high school. After writing blog posts for different companies, Salem wanted to take her brand to the next level. As a sophomore in college, Salem started creating handmade clothing items. She made shirts, dresses, bathing suits, and jewelry sustainability. A year later, Salem decided to "level up" once again and step into the world of manufacturing. Today, Meraki Mentality is an eco-friendly clothing line focused on beachwear and swimwear. Our goal with our products is to create pieces that are beautiful but also have meaning behind them, whether it is being environmentally friendly or giving back to those less fortunate than us.
