Good Friday – April 03, 2026

City of Statesville offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday. In addition, the Statesville Recreation Center and Bentley Community Center will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5, 2026.

There will be no garbage collection on that day.

Sanitation services for the week of March 30 through April 3, 2026 will operate on the following revised schedule:

Residential Collection

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday routes will run as scheduled.
  • Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Thursday, April 2.

Commercial Collection

For businesses with roll-out carts or garbage containers:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday routes will run as scheduled.
  • Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Thursday, April 2.
  • Saturday routes will run as scheduled.

Spring Trash Bash (Voluteers Needed)

The City is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves and help clean up our community! The Spring Trash Bash, held in conjunction with the NCDOT Litter Sweep, is part of North Carolina’s biannual roadside litter removal initiative. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, residents can make a visible difference in our city.
