Help Protect Our Waterways: Volunteer to mark Storm Drains in your Neighborhood

The City of Statesville Stormwater Division is offering an exciting way for YOU to make a difference!

Join us in spreading the important message: 𝑶𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝑹𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏!

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑰𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔?

• Stormwater runoff from urban areas can: Increase flooding risks
• Damage property and erode soil
• Degrade water quality in our streams and rivers

By marking storm drains, you’re reminding everyone that these drains flow directly to our local waterways. No trash, chemicals, or pollutants—just rainwater!

🔹 Certified Wastewater Operator Grade I- IV (Temporary) - This position is responsible for performing technical and skilled work in the operation of a wastewater treatment plant.
