TLDR: GO PLAY THESE GAMES ASAP I’ve played over 100 escape rooms and Key to Escape is easily in my top 10. The owner, Roger, is a kind and wonderful man who really took his time to get to know us and loved talking about the history of Statesville and his love of building escape rooms. You can feel the love that was put into this business when you walk in. We only had time to play the Oz and Under Pressure rooms but I love how intentional everything is. Their goal is clearly to keep you immersed in the world of the room. The rooms are just challenging enough. If you only have time for one room, I would consider the following: -Oz is great for families -Under Pressure is slightly more physically demanding -Both are a great time with plenty of opportunities to work collaboratively and independently We can’t wait until we can go back to play the Elf room and talk about Key to Escape often, months out from our original trip.
