Description

The creative process influencing our faith journey Frye Gillard, former Southern Editor at the Charlotte Observer and Writer in Residence at the University of South Alabama will share readings from his works that provoke thought and discussion around faith, journey and social justice. Steve Shoemaker after each reading. Gaillard is the author of more than 30 books. Among his award-winning titles are A Hard Rain: America in the 1960s; Watermelon Wine: The Spirit of Country Music; Cradle of Freedom: Alabama and the Movement that Changed America; The America: A Story of Democracy in the Balance, co-authored with Pulizer Prize winner Cynthia Tucker. He currently lives near Mobile on the Alabama coast.
