Downtown Statesville Development Corporation

Downtown Statesville Development Corporation (DSDC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization charged with administering the Main Street program for Statesville and whose mission is to champion, promote and lead Downtown Statesville as the economic, social and cultural engine in the region. This is achieved in collaboration with public-private partners working together to enhance the appearance, desirability, and vitality of downtown.

DSDC has administered the Statesville Main Street Program at the local level since 1982. The organization is governed by a 17-member Board of Directors and has numerous volunteer committees including the Promotions Committee, Design Committee, Economic Vitality Committee, and Organization Committee that work to implement our programs, goals, and objectives.

Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce established in 1927 is a membership-based organization comprised of nearly 600 businesses and professionals. We believe that the long-term economic vitality of a community is driven by successful businesses. We serve as a unified voice for business in public affairs.

Much of our programming is directed towards building a network of contacts for our members. Spending money locally with other Chamber members expands the community’s economic prosperity. Through various leads groups, business after/before hours, workshops/seminars or our extraordinary Ambassadors program we offer members the opportunity to grow their business.

Statesville Convention & Visitors Bureau

The primary objective of the Statesville Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB) is to promote, solicit and encourage travelers to stop and stay in the Greater Statesville Area resulting in furthering the continued economic development of the City. This objective will be accomplished by promoting tourism and assisting visitors during their stay by encouraging them to visit and enjoy the historic cultural, entertainment and recreational opportunities the Greater Statesville Area has to offer. The SCVB shall represent the Greater Statesville Area to all segments of travelers to the area through targeted regional, state, national and international advertising and promotion.
