Volunteers are the heart of Rescue Ranch!

More than 50 volunteers providing almost 2800 hours of service in 2023!

Volunteerism is a form of helping in which people actively seek opportunities to assist others in need, make considerable and continuing commitments to provide assistance and sustain these commitments over a period of time often at a considerable personal cost.  At Rescue Ranch, we have a tremendous network of dedicated volunteers.  Many of the volunteers come weekly and have been doing so for many years.

Our volunteers work on projects big and small - doing some of the most impactful work for our organization.  Their work ranges from animal care to property maintenance, and from educational support to growing vegetables for our animal ambassadors.

Rescue Ranch volunteers, no matter their age, have the biggest hearts and are part of the team.

The term "many hands make light work" is a clear summary of the importance of the dedicated volunteers at the Ranch.
