Positions

Firefighter (Full-Time)

• Starting Salary: $22.01 Hourly / $45,780.80 Annually
• Requirements:
• NC Firefighter I & II Certification
• North Carolina Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Additional certifications (EMR, NIMS 100/200, etc.) within specified timeframes
• Schedule: Start on Day Shift, transition to 24/48

Firefighter Recruit (Full-Time)

• Starting Salary: $20.97 Hourly / $43,617.60 Annually
• Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid N.C. driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 60 days of residency)
• Completion of EMT/EMR course and state exam within specified attempts and timeframe
• Schedule: Start on Day Shift, transition to 24/48
